Greg Ruddock (Joint Chief Executive Officer)

Greg has some ten years of private equity experience with Gresham Private Equity and Ironbridge and 12 years of operational experience.

Greg started his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers before joining Wesfarmers Limited in 1988 in the Business Development team. Whilst at Wesfarmers Greg worked on a number of larger acquisitions including Western Collieries, and the public takeover of Bunnings Limited in 1994. In that same year, Greg was appointed Corporate Planning Manager of Wesfarmers.

In 1995 Greg moved to Sydney and joined Avatar Limited as a Business Development Manager and in 1996 was appointed as the Finance Director of its printing subsidiary, Kalamazoo. During this period Greg become CEO of the company and led a significant restructuring of the company before successfully selling the business on behalf of Avatar in 1999.

Greg joined Gresham Private Equity in September 1999 as an Investment Director and became a Director in October 2002. While there, Greg led the development of Electronic Banking Solutions/Cashcard and the A$25 million MBO of Raywood.

Since co-founding Ironbridge in 2003, Greg has led the investments into leading independent insurance underwriting agency Stardex Insurance Group; large format furniture retail group Super A-Mart, mining services provider Australian Drilling Solutions (ADS) and fleet leasing business FleetPartners. He also led the successful sale of Dexta Corporation and restructure of the Stardex Group.

Greg is a qualified accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Western Australia.
